Our Content Pipeline
How your feedback shapes the library.
Welcome to The Responsible Engineer! Our mission is simple: build a library of execution resources hardware startups need to get sh*t done. But how we execute on that mission must be driven by our audience. So before putting proverbial pen to paper, we ran some early surveys with hardware startup founders and senior engineers to gain some early insight into what people actually want to see.
Survey Results
We polled across three categories, suggesting dozens of topics and also allowing for free response. Here’s what rose to the top:
Category A: Best Practices
The cultural mindsets and process habits that let teams move faster and build more reliably.
Category B: Templates, Specs, Standards, and Guides
The documents and reference tools that turn big ideas into daily practice.
Category C: Trusted Tools, Suppliers & Resources
External partners and platforms that speed up hardware development.
What’s Next
These lists are what’s currently shaping our pipeline. While we cannot promise that everything here is on deck, much of it is. As our subscriber base grows, we intend to stay agile enough to be responsive to your as it evolves. And we will make you all aware of those priorities along the way.
But of course, this is not a one-way valve: especially for our early subscribers who are helping
set the direction for what The Responsible Engineer becomes. So let’s kick it over to you:
Is there anything on these lists that you think should be high priority?
What are we missing?
